I’m in longterm recovery from drugs and alcohol and this past couple of years has really been a test. I’ve never been so thirsty — so in need of some relief — than during the pandemic. I had to really protect myself from myself, at times. This song is about the world going to shit and my wanting to throw in the towel and party in the midst of it all — which I did not do…but a gay can dream, ya know? In the end, I always end up screaming about this stuff and dancing it off. This was one of those times. Dance it off with me?
